Human Performance Advisor

Key Role:

Function as the coordinator and technical expert for functional training and rehabilitation services to client operators. Assist the government human performance (HP) manager with the performance of their duties. Plan, develop, and synchronize technical training, guidance, and programmatic and policy recommendations. Secure, protect, and enhance the health and fitness of each operator to promote mission readiness across the range of military operations. Design, implement, and provide direct daily oversight of human performance services, including using a phased and metered approach to maintain the required level of peak performance and reconditioning of the operator. Perform an inventory of HP supplies for the rehabilitation and training of personnel, assist with preparing equipment and supply requisitions to replenishing exhausted supplies, acquire preventive maintenance for HP equipment, and present new and emerging equipment for purchase consideration.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a human performance advisor (HPA)

-Experience with conducting long and short-range planning and coordination of new functional training and nutrition programs, including a history of positive attributable results from HPA work

-Experience in a collegiate or professional level athletic environment, including conducting multi-domain programming, such as lecture, multimedia, and practical hands-on training for strength, conditioning, performance nutrition, and team dynamics

-Ability to provide emergency first response, evaluate and recognize athletic injuries and illness, provide medical referrals, organize and administer records, and support and coordinate detailed individual maintenance programs

-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree

-National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-TS/SCI clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
