Transportation Ops Manager


Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Coordinatorin conjunction with the Transportation Manager will be
responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Installation
Transportation Division (ITD). He/she ensure that the ITD functions in
accordance with established safety, cost standards, and Government policies,
including the planning, assigning, supervising and evaluating employees as
required, as well as interfacing with all levels of customers and government
agencies. This position functions as liaison to the Logistics Coordination Cell
(LCC) for planning,coordination, synchronization, and monitoring all
Logistic Readiness Center (LRC) installation Mobilization/Demobilization
operations and functions.

  • Provides
    updates and status to the Regional Program Manager, and as required to
    government staff.
  • Defining,
    analyzing and documenting requirements, development of technical
    solutions, providing proactive analysis and planning guidance to support
    operations to include but not limited to:
  • Coordinates
    movement of personnel, equipment and/or material
  • Serves
    as a Division liaison to the Logistics Coordination Cell operational staff
    as required supporting planning and extended (24/7) operations
  • Oversees
    planning and synchronization of support provided by deployment nodes and
    logistics work centers
  • Review,
    prepares, and monitors logistical statuses, reports and briefings on
    support operations
  • Provides
    predictive analysis, investigate, resolve and expedite material or events
    contributing to operational constraints
  • Develops
    briefings, presentations and reports as required; interfacing with other
    installation Operations Centers, the Mobilization Deployment Brigade
    (MDB), federal /state agencies and other contractors.
  • Serves
    as the acting Functional Division Manager during the Manager s absence.
  • Serves
    as the Alternate Physical Security Officer for assigned Functional

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
