Physical Therapist

Key Role:

Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions and evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals, including the referral of patients to other staff members that fall within their scope of care. Provide musculoskeletal injury care, using approved supplemental clinical privileges, including the ordering of imaging studies, laboratory tests, basic pharmaceuticals, and referrals to specialty providers. Supervise the PT Tech and PT Assistant within their scope of practice and participate in periodic meetings to review the care provided to patients. Identify opportunities for improvement and serve as an adviser to the HPP Manager in matters related to injury prevention, SM, rehabilitation, administrative matters, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and supplemental fiscal requests. Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the HPP stays current with the provision of care. Assist the HPP Manager in developing and maintaining clinical practice guidelines to ensure consistency of care across all HPP facilities. Develop and promulgate training opportunities for the HPP staff to enhance career development, potential for advancement and to further professional expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with performing manual therapy

-Ability to meet the physical demands of training with military forces, including hiking over rough terrain and functioning in austere environments

-Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lift loads or weight up to 20 kg.

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in Physical Therapy

-Certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as an OCS or SCS or a certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a certified athletic trainer (ATC)

-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with elite athletes

-Secret clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
